Cayenne - IoT Project Builder App Reviews

I dont write many reviews but I would really like this application to be fixed. The idea behind it is amazing. There are many bugs that need to be fixed to make the app stable/more reliable.

I have heard the hype around Pi and decided to give it a shot. I really couldnt believe how easy it was to make that initial connection. For a novice like me I found some of the videos they have posted to be helpful. Now that I have a basic understanding for how this all works I will try doing more.

Really like using this app. The discovery feature makes it easy to setup my Raspberry Pis to be remotely managed. I love the the variety of widgets and ability to completely customize my dashboard. This is working perfectly for my IoT projects.

Ive been using Cayenne to manage my home automation projects from lighting to temperature monitoring. I was able to get my projects setup and running right away.

I love the fact that I can automatically discover and setup my Pis without having to go to the Pi terminal to do so. Adding sensors and lights for my projects was easy, plus I can move the widgets around as I see fit.

Saw a webinar with a guy named Ryan demonstrating the app but it seem way too easy so figured Id try it. Lived up to the demo. Nice app.

When I initially downloaded this app I was hoping I could visualize my raspberry pi sensors data. I can do that but, I can also turn on and off actuators, I can set up a trigger so my temperature sensor turns on a fan. I can schedule to turn a light on at a specific time. I get sms alerts. Kind of blown away. I do wish they supported arduino and some other devices

Being able to combine Pis and Arduinos into one IOT project and being able to manage that project from an easy to use dashboard makes this application one of the best IOT project builders on the market!

I have it connected to Raspberry Pi. Waited for 2 hours and it still download 3 out of 4. I gave up.

I wanted to like this app but after you install it your raspberry pi cpu will idle at around %10 constantly. I completely uninstalled the app and my pi cpu went back to %0 when idle. Sad because it is a nice concept.

Easy to setup new raspberry pis and start controlling GPIO remotely. Even allows full access to the GUI desktop from off network. Highly recommend for beginners and experts looking for a way to control IoT from off network.

To say anything but good things about Cayenne would be unkind. These coders bust their butts to build an interface that makes use of my Rpi3 much easier since coding is not my strong suit. I highly recommend this app for all users. And it now covers ARDUINO! Great job @bestes and your cohorts.

This is really a nice app for home automation project. Lots of sensor support, scheduling, and some commands for remote controlling your Pi. Has a similar Web component and Apple app, if youre into such thing..

Amazing app! Essential if you have a Raspberry Pi. You can monitor and control countless projects. Beautiful UI, too!!!

This is a very awesome app. Very user friendly. It is still missing features such as timers, counters, expressions, and variables but good enough for simple automation from the cloud. Best of all....its free.

The new MQTT support is so easy to use and the LoRa GPS maps are amazing!

MQTT support really opens this up so I can work with all of my web projects.
