Awesome IoT project builder

I really like this app because of its user friendliness. I am an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate right now and I have found this app to be simple and useful.

Login Required - Automatic One Star!!!

Unnecessary login. Yet another moronic decision. Uninstalled.

Yooooo my dawg this app is sick! Before I couldnt control my raspberry pi, but now I can! Cool idea, cooler app.

Powerful but easy to use

Super simple setup of Raspberry Pi. Great looking dashboard, good support of sensors and add ons.

Absolutely great

As a beginning programmer, I found this app incredibly easy and fun to use. I usually dont buy things but I bought a raspberry pi and then my good friend told me to get this app, which I did. Ive been using this app for a while and it just works seamlessly and smoothly. I dont have any complaints or criticisms because this thing is just superb

Efya!

Love it!

Can eventually be great but needs work

I love the idea behind this app but unfortunately it currently has a large number of bugs the need to be worked out. First, every time you exit the app you have to completely force close it or it will no longer receive updates from the sensors. Second, there is no way to completely delete previously used sensors. You can tell it to delete them but they simply repopulate once you exit the app and return. I currently have multiple (4) readings for a single sensor. Third, the list of supported sensors is dismal at best. I could go on but I think youve got the idea. If the developers dedicate themselves to finding and fixing all the problems this will eventually be hands down my favourite app.

Trash

It wont locate my raspberry pi. All the reviews are fake btw

it actually works!!!

I was skeptical at first, but the app actually works. I have a Raspberry Pi 2 with Jessy OS installed. It found my Pi on my local Wifi network. Cayenne setup took about 6 minutes for me. I’m working on projects to monitor temperature outside my home as well as lighting inside. I setup a trigger so when the temperature fails below freezing I’m notified so I can cover the fruit I’m growing in my garden. Both of these projects were easy to setup and get going.

Direct GPIO control!!!

The app may have minor annoyances but theres nothing faster or easier out there to setup immediate control of your Pis GPIO. ? The GPIO interface in the app lets you change input/output, set low/high and also serves as a quick monitoring tool to see whats happening with each pin. It works remotely, so you can literally check it anywhere, any time.⏰ The dashboard page also monitors your system performance so you can make sure its always fine-tuned. ? The best part is, you can add any kind of digital or analog sensor/actuator/motor to the dashboard to monitor and control it. The app also lets you setup "triggers" by using the output of one device to control the other!!! I really hope you guys continue to add goodies/enhancements!!??

Crashes

iPhone 5 with 9.2.1 Collected my information for an account, but crashes while searching for pis on network. Idk.

Total control AND Remote Desktop!

The Raspberry Pi Foundation itself actually tweeted about Cayenne. Thats pretty legit. Its a great first step for beginners like me, but seasoned makers will probably find these features useful, too. The Remote Desktop feature was a pleasant surprise.
